My next convention appearance will be the Motor City Comic Con, May 16th - 18th, 2008

Who is Michael L. Peters?  I've drawn Comics for such publishers as Heavy Metal Magazine, Caliber, Image, and CFD.  I create and sell Prints mostly on mythological themes, in pen & ink, watercolor and/or acrylics (originals aren't for sale, as yet).  A few years ago,  I was hired by Ferris State University to create a series of pen & ink portraits of their former presidents.  I've taught drawing and illustration through a local art gallery, though I don't have a degree.  What I've learned about drawing and painting, I've learned through my own studies and practice and from following the examples of those I respect.

I  accept commissions as time permits.  Look for my art auctions on eBay (soon -- check in April '08).

I've joined  myspace , comicspace and facebook.  In both myspace and comicspace, I've added a preview gallery of my upcoming series, CRESCENT CITY MAGICK (publisher yet to be determined).  Feel free to friend.
